Judie Friel calling hours tonight

Judie L. Friel, 60, of Dennison, O., passed away unexpectedly in her home on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007. Born April 28, 1947, in Dennison, she was a daughter of the late Charles Thomas and Pauline (Berkes) Wolfe.

On Oct. 3, 1970, she married Michael E. Friel who survives her. Judie is also survived by two daughters, Dusti and Deanne Friel of the home; a son, Michael E. Friel II of the home; a granddaughter, Skye Friel; a brother, Charles “Buster” Wolfe and his wife, Deb, of Uhrichsville; dear cousins, Pat Beegle and Gene, Ann, Martha and Joe Wolfe, all of the Findlay area; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffery A. Wolfe.

Judie was Presbyterian by faith and a lifelong resident of the area. She was a graduate of Dennison High School in the class of 1965, a member of the Uhrichsville Moose Auxiliary and an avid fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Indians who enjoyed bowling and feeding the wild birds around her home. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, as well as having worked at the Scio Pottery for a number of years.

Services for Judie, officiated by her loving family, will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home at Dennison. Interment will follow in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday. Those wishing to honor Judie’s memory by a charitable contribution may do so to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
