Remembering Bill and John on Memorial Day

Veterans I would like to honor on Memorial Day are my brother, William Fenton Liggett, and brother-in-law John E. Williams Jr.

WILLIAM FENTON  LIGGETT b. Sep 26, 1918 Colliers, WV, d. June 19, 1997 Uhrichsville, OH
corporal and armorer instructor serving in the European theater.

JOHN EDWARD WILLIAMS JR. b. Dec 8, 1921 New Port Ritchie, FL, d. Jan. 4, 1996 Uhrichsvlle, OH staff sergeant serving in Pacific Theater. He was married o my sister, Betty.

Class meets for lunch in Bowerston

Members of the Dennison High School Class of 1948 gathered in Bowerston on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, for lunch at the Western Grill.

An email from Jack Pershing was read.  He said he expects to have hip surgery at the end of July or first of August, but hopes to make the June luncheon.


The next lunch will be at noon Wednesday, June 13, at Chef Ernie's in (Roanoke) Uhrichsville.
